The Merrill Rifle (sales brochure)
This was an early Merrill, Thomas & Company sales brochure, as the diagrams show the snubbed front end of the forend. My photo collection has seriall 588 as the first Merrill to have the tapered forend.
The cover page is of an original sales brochure in the Claude Fuller collection, located at the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park (NMP).
I'll be using the pages of testimony to capture actual photographs of those whose testimonials were used, such as Major General Dix.
I sure could use some help in this effort, whether it's actual photos or websites to check out. Email me all you can. Thanks.
